Since I’ve taken a more minimalist approach to life and dropped 3 sizes along the way, I’ve needed to re-do my wardrobe by a combination of tailoring the pieces I love, and acquiring new items over time. Over the last four years, I’ve totally changed how I have assembled my wardrobe so that it is easy to assemble outfits (because the color choices are complimentary), a breeze to care for (since ironing is not my favorite activity!), and makes me feel luxurious (based on carefully selected pieces). I have a few go-to pieces for work, and to head out on nights and weekends. I change things up via a carefully curated collection of accessories (shoes, purses, jewelry, scarves, belts). Just goes to show, I don’t need a lot to have a lot of choice to feel like I have a lot of style!
How about you: How does your style reflect your essence? Which go-to pieces in your wardrobe make you feel like a million bucks when you wear them?
